The South Sudan Trade Information Hub, launched on 30 April 2026, is led by the Ministry of Trade and Industry. With technical assistance from the International Trade Centre (ITC), United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD) and the East African Community (EAC) Secretariat, the Hub and its team play a key role in digitizing and streamlining cross-border trade and investment procedures in the EAC region.
The Government of the Republic of South Sudan acknowledges the support of its international partners including the European Union (EU) funded EU-EAC MARKUP II programme under Global Gateway, which has supported the development of the Hub and related trade and investment facilitation initiatives since 2024.
