This procedure sequentially compiles the registration, permits and clearance to be fulfilled by the exporter of honey by road from South Sudan.

Traders must obtain the importers and exporters registration certificate from National Ministry of Trade and Industry. The certificate is valid for one year and it can be issued only in HQ.

Traders must obtain certificates of phytosanitary and origin for each consignment only from the Ministry of environment and forestry HQ.

Traders must obtain certificate of origin for each consignment only from South Sudan National Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture HQ.

Traders must obtain standards document for each consignment only from South Sudan National Bureau of Standards HQ.

Traders must obtain calibration certificate for each instrument and tool from Directorate of Metrology of the South Sudan National Bureau of Standards. The certificate is valid for one year and it can be issued only in HQ.

Traders must obtain quality mark permit from South Sudan National Bureau of Standards. The permit is valid for one year and it can be issued only in HQ.

Traders must obtain letter of no objection from the Ministry of livestock and fisheries HQ. The letter is valid for one year.

Traders must obtain certificate of verification and compliance every year or quarter for each instrument and tool only from Directorate of Metrology of the South Sudan National Bureau of Standards HQ.

Traders can obtain export permit for each consignment from the Ministry of Livestock and Fisheries HQ, Juba and at the border.

Traders must obtain export licence from National Ministry of Trade and Industry. The licence is valid for one year and it can be issued only in HQ.

Customs agents must obtain customs declaration form C17 for each consignment from Customs Division of South Sudan Revenue Authority in HQ or at borders.

Traders must complete all the formalities necessary for the export of goods by road including customs clearance with Customs and all other border regulatory agencies available at the border and pay associated costs.
